Town water in New Zealand is treated properly, and we'll keep saying so - safe and pure are just different questions. The fluoride is added on purpose, and PFAS and microplastics are not in your council's testing at all. Removing those is reverse osmosis's job. It is why the one machine we sell is the Pentair ES60. HOW WE WORK
We'll tell you when a filter isn't worth it.
Most New Zealand town water is already soft, so we don't sell softeners. Town water is safe, and that's the first thing your report will say. We work out filter schedules instead of guessing them. If your cartridges will last 14 months, we won't send them at 9.

What we will not sell you
Some products in this market promise a lot and can't show the working. Magnet devices for hard water. Cartridges that claim to do everything. Systems sold on fear. We don't stock any of it. If we can't show you the numbers behind a claim, we won't make the claim. And if your water is genuinely fine for what you want from it, we'll tell you to keep it that way.

We only sell quality equipment. The ES60 is a genuine Pentair machine, lab-tested against volatile phenols, trichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, arsenic, cadmium, chromium-6, lead, fluoride and nitrates, with a first-class water efficiency rating. Ask us for the test report - we'll send it. And we describe it honestly: it removes around 90% of fluoride, not all of it, and no honest filter company claims otherwise.

I'm Mason.
After growing up in Auckland I made the move to Queenstown a few years ago, and not long after there was a water crisis. Certain suburbs had to boil their tap water for months on end and many people got sick. I never really thought about NZ tap water until then and assumed it was all under control, like many of us.
Since then I have been interested in what's really in our water and what it can do to our health. What I found was that most of the time it's perfectly safe, but far from pure. I also found that the industry was lacking transparency. Rebranded filters shipped to your door with fancy names, or expensive units sold through contractors that had basically the same stuff in them, just a nice logo and packaging. Or even worse, a home consultation process that had a salesman in your kitchen before you knew the price. No one was showing you what's in your water, and many were wishing you luck after the install to sort the filters out yourself.
I think clean and pure water in your home is an absolute No Brainer, and filters should just show up on time, exactly when your house needs them.

The delivery promise
Free delivery on the ES60 and every refill, nationwide. You're billed only when a refill ships, never in between.
The cartridge promise
If the cartridges we send don't fit, that's our mistake, not yours. Send a photo, keep the wrong ones, and the right ones go in the post that day.
90 days on your water
Run any system 90 days. If your water is not noticeably better, you get a full refund and we pay the courier to collect it.
A real person
